Mr. Barry

Mr. Barry started teaching at JQS in 2007, and his favorite subject is writing. He went to Stonehill College for his undergraduate degree, and he graduated from Harvard University with a masters degree in Human Development and Psychology. Since graduating from Harvard, he has continued as a teaching fellow; in the daytime he teaches kindergarteners, and at night time he teaches graduate students! In his free time, Mr. Barry likes to listen to and play music. He plays guitar, piano, and the harp. He also likes to spend time with his niece and two nephews. Mr. Barry was awarded the James Bryant Conant Fellowship at Harvard, which is a full tuition fellowship awarded to a small number of Cambridge and Boston Public School teachers!

Mr. Barry left our school in 2017, to pursue his PhD in another state.  We hope he will return one day.  He will be missed!
