Mark Sacco has been a teacher in the Boston Public School System since 1998 and at the Josiah Quincy School since 2000. Prior to teaching, Mr. Sacco worked at Scudder and other financial institutions before going back to school to follow his passion to educate children. Mr. Sacco taught in a variety of classrooms before settling into his specialty of Special Education.

Mr. Sacco now teaches the physically handicapped students at the Josiah Quincy School. He emphasizes including his students in as many school activities as possible. The goal of the Special Education department is to mainstream students whenever appropriate.  JQS is proud that several of Mr. Sacco's students have successfully moved on from the substantially separate setting to mainstream classrooms. The school and all its students and teachers work hard to help and include the physically handicapped students whenever and wherever possible.
