  • Complete reading Bucket List and Summer Reading minutes.

  • Online resources: e.g. Study Island, JQS Library Resources, Khan Academy

  • Multiplication facts up to 12s

  • Incoming Grade 4 students please read, Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo...you will have a test on the

            book when you return to school!
  • Incoming Grade 4AWC students please read Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo and Bridge to Terabithia

            by Katherine Paterson...complete the activity page attached to this packet and bring back on the first day of school!
  • You will read a Time For Kids article and respond to the text with given comprehension questions and writing.

  • MAKE SURE YOU KNOW your Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication Combinations up to 12

  • Please continue your third grade work on Study Island for math and ELA.

  • Khan Academy can be an additional resource for summer practice.


 5MATH: Have all multiplication and division facts (0-12) memorized.

WRITING: Write four one-paragraph personal narratives about an event or activity that you did during the summer

READING: Read at least 3 books from BPS approved reading list.

One of these 3 books must be one of the following:: Because of Mr. Terupt, Wonder, Frindle, or Loser.

Then, Select one character from the book and explain why/why not this character demonstrated IB profiles and/or

FIRE values.

Do assignments adding up to value of 10 points



MATH: Master facts for all four math operations from 0-12

WRITING: Write four one paragraph personal narratives about an event or activity that you did during the summer

READING: Read five books from the list provided

 PH Students attend Extended School Year so all school work comes from that program
