JQS Curriculum

JQS Instructional Leadership Team (ILT):

Josiah Quincy School's Instructional Leadership Team is, in the words of Principal Ho, the brain of JQS.  Curriculum development at JQS is data driven, meaning that past experience is charted to inform the creation of successful teaching and learning programs. It means that future results are measurable.

The JQS Instructional Leadership Team's primary mission is to help lead the school's effort at supporting improvement of teaching and learning with an explicit goal of raising student achievement for all students and narrowing achievement gaps through the implementation of the Whole School Improvement Plan (WSIP) and through data analysis.

JQS Advanced Work Curriculum (AWC):

The Josiah Quincy School's Advanced Work Curriculum (AWC) is thought by many parents and teachers to be the best in Boston.  Students from across Boston Public Schools compete to enter the JQS AWC program, though the JQS 4th grade can accommodate only 50 AWC seats.
